DAVID J. McBRIDE
David J. McBride is the President and founding principal of McBride Claims Services. He received his B.A. from Providence College in Public Administration and Political Science. He also attended Creighton University School of Law.
Mr. McBride founded McBride Claims Services in June 1995, with the goal of providing high quality claims services in both the liability and worker’s compensation areas. Mr. McBride has extensive experience in multiple jurisdictions including but not limited to Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Maryland, New York, and Virginia. As a claims consultant, Mr. McBride performs claims audits for the purpose of reviewing claims handling and claims practices for large self-insureds. He also provides claims audits for large reinsurers for the purpose of the commutation of workers’ compensation policies. Mr. McBride has acted in a management role for several clients during times when there are staff shortages. He has been retained as an expert witness in worker's compensation insurance disputes
Prior to beginning McBride Claims Services, Mr. McBride gained his insurance claims experience working for both large national companies and small independent firms including: Aetna Life and Casualty, Amtrak, Massachusetts Casualty Insurance Company and Insurance Adjusting Services. His experience includes handling conciliations and hearings, adjusting claims for large national accounts and self-insureds and individual disability claims.
